SATO PROMOTION IN BUSOGA REGION

Alliance Water Solutions together with SATO marketing team from Kampala, on 28^th September 2018 organized an orientation training for AWASO sanitation field promoters at the office to get feedback on the products.

The word SATO comes from Safe Toilets, therefore AWASO is promoting Smart, Fresh Toilets. Sato pans are already on market but Sato stool and Sato flex pan will be available before October 2018.

People in Busoga are embracing the SATO pans because of its advantages below

• Cost effective
• User friendly even to families with children
• Stops bad odor/smell
• Easy to clean (require little water)
• Stops flies to access food
• Hinders cockroaches to get out of the pit
• Reduction of diseases

This is key in the promotion of improved sanitation one of the core objectives of the organization
