Latrine Infrastructure Development (LID)Program is targeting to improve sanitation at both household and institutional level under the "Smart Fresh Toilet project" through construction of 20,000 drainable facilities in 12 districts in eastern Uganda including municipalities. The 1st 5 year Phase will target 10,000 facilities with a total budget of $12,410,000. So far $12,000,000 has been raised and will be given as WASH loans to sanitation beneficiaries and a balance of $410,000 is needed to build awareness and program sustainability for the Phase I
